Empowerment 



Defining empowerment would specify with rewarding, networking, sharing information and provide power to employees to obtain decision and initiatives to solve problems and enhance performance level.  Further to discuss empowerment is located with ideas of providing proper level of resources, authority, and opportunity, enhance skill level and motives. By that it will supportive over reaction and outcome of action that ultimately contribute to improvements of the organizational activities. (Lyman & Ketchum, 1992).


In any situation empowerment would be handed with four different types of elements which are inclusive of education of the people which are need to be allocated with different task, dependency of self-values and self-talents, ability making own decisions in different situations and self-realization and physical power of people to make achievements within the given takes. Overall it created with supportive to next level of business (Murari, 2015).


It is argued that empowerment would be supportive over development of business organization through proper level of resource allocation. Further to that it supportive to take employees talent as fullest capacity. (Trist, 2013) With empowerment it is facilitated through to achieve various things such as working with extra miles, following with best practices, become more productive, handed with proper communication, embrace changes, provide with better services. 


There are average of six methods could be identified as employee encouraging methods which are inclusive of offered authority and ownership to handing out responsibilities of company, develop with proper guidelines and best practices within the organization. In that scenario it would supportive to lead with employees within the level that they would able to work and they properly activated about the activities within such boundaries. (Trist, 2013) Encourage level of communication which would supportive to understand all objectives and ideas properly to execute it. Provide with teams to support the activities also identified as supportive factor within the practices which would understand along with practicing action in quick manner. (Karakoc, 2009) Growth opportunities also refer to as key task to develop within the empowerment that provides long term benefits of retention within the system. Organization supportive always important within the activation process which need to be discussed along with actualization of plan of the manager.

Increasing the degree of autonomy and the self-determination in people and in community can be use for measuring empowerment as it is enable the people to represent their interest in a responsible way. This can be further defined through the Self-determination theory which formulated by Deci and Ryan, (2000).

  8. Empowerment is practicing in all modern management and operational systems. Without empowerment can't think of modern practices such as LEAN manufacturing. If we think about multiskilled, self managed work cells, empowerment is the key.what about in your industry ??
